Katie worked with Asian Pacific Community in Action (APCA), a Phoenix-based community health organization, to organize a series of Women’s Health Forums. These forums brought together activists, community members, organizations, and artists to provide access and information to women of Asian Pacific American descent in the Phoenix area. Participating organizations included Chrysalis, A New Leaf, TRUST, FoxStrong Self Defense, AZ Coalition to End Sexual and Domestic Violence (ACESDV), Area Agency on Aging, PIHMA Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Clinic, and more. Forum 1 took place at the JACL in Glendale on June 13. Forum 2 took place on June 27 at Frontal Lobe Community Space in Phoenix.
