Four Destinies is a full-length play that satirizes the stories we tell ourselves about adoption in America. It was first produced in Fall 2011 by Mu Performing Arts at Mixed Blood Theatre in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It was directed by Suzy Messerole and dramaturged by Jennifer Weir. It starred Katie Bradley, LaDawn James Williams, Nora Montanez, Neil Matthew Schneider, Nicholas Freeman, Maria Kelly, Shanan Custer, and Don Eitel. Four Destinies was developed through the Jerome New Play Program, in collaboration with Mu Performing Arts, and received a 2011 National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) Access to Artistic Excellence grant.
