Katie is thrilled to announce that a panel she organized on representations of disability in literature and popular culture has been accepted into the 2015 AWP Conference, which will take place in April in Minneapolis. Titled, “It’s Sad When Batman Needs a Cane: Disability in the Mainstream Marketplace,” the amazing and esteemed group of panelists include poet John Lee Clark, playwright and performer Kevin Kling, children’s author, playwright and performer Leslye Orr, and novelist Christine Stark.
